CBCT Use For the General Dentist

Cone Beam Computed Tomography has been around for over 20 years now and many practitioners ask if they need one. There are many presentations about the science and technology behind the CBCT but most leave you asking the question, how does this fit into my GP practice? The purpose of this presentation is to use cases to illustrate how CBCT can be used as an additional study to augment our clinical and radiographic exams and also how the imaging can be used with other forms of technology to create better outcomes from a treatment planning point of view. From basic Implant Planning, assessment of Teeth and Periodontal Structures, assessment of Impacted Teeh, evaluation of Trauma, Sleep Apnea, Cysts/Tumours Endodontic leasions, TMJ Evaluation and Paranasal Sinuses.
The participants will learn:

3 Ways to use CBCT images to improve treatment planning.
5 Ways to use CBCT images to increase case acceptance.
